Smart Forage & Pasture’s parent company is Agri Plus – based in Gisborne. Agri Plus is a family owned three generation company, initially servicing cropping and specialised horticultural farmers in the East Coast District. Twenty years later we are now reaching throughout New Zealand, particularly the North Island, providing livestock and dairy farmers with customised programs and the necessary inputs to improve and maintain their most secure, reliable and cost-effective source of feed – their pasture!
We know every livestock and dairy farmer works hard. But at Smart Forage & Pasture we also know that with a bit of focused help and support the results can be astonishing.
That’s why we’ve developed the Smart Three65 Program. You’ll quickly find that the Smart Three65 Program is about more than just being a seed supplier. We have an entire support team to provide you proactive year-round support & to make sure you see real improvements in crop and pasture yield.
Smart Forage & Pasture is a three generation family owned and operated business. Our team is passionate about delivering the results you deserve. Our demand for excellence and our farmer first focus means you will always be in good hands.
WHAT ARE THEY SAYING ABOUT US?
Smart are an excellent team, always there when I need them most. They make everything so easy for us, price is no longer a question when it comes to pastures, these guys are the best!
You're the only company whose agronomist can give me all the advice from the initial analysis, top crop selection, weed & insect control, nutrient programmes, grazing management, and crop rotations. It saves me from having to deal with so many different people.
We use experts in our cowshed chemical and on the fertiliser we use and it makes good sense to get expert advice on grass seed, but a lot of farmers don't. Many companies sell seed, but not many give the expert advice you do.
